From Albany to the Adirondacks, two local tour operators run competitive amateur golf all summer. Here’s everything you need to know.
There are two amateur golf tours operating in Upstate New York that are worth knowing about. Neither one is brand new. Neither one is trying to be the next PGA Tour stop. They’re organized by people who care about the game, run well enough that you can show up, play your index, and compete against golfers at your level on the courses you already know.
518 Golf Hub lists their events with permission from both operators. We don’t recommend one over the other. If you’ve been meaning to play in a real tournament (not a member-guest scramble or charity event), this is where to start.

Answer three questions and we'll match you to the right tour — or tell you both work. No national app knows these courses. We do.
